Obviously, like all true patriotic SwaggerToothers, I am very concerned about the safety of our great nation (the USA). But this from Slate magazine got my attention mostly because of the cocaine. Hmmm.
By the way, the new Dave Matthews Band record, Big Whiskey And The GrooGrux King, is really, really good. I agree with Chicken when he says it’s the best since 1998 (Before These Crowded Streets). It’s a great tribute to the late LeRoi Moore (1961-2008). Give it a listen.
By the way, where is David?

The dude on the far right...

A couple of things to comment on here my bobble headed friend….
Good stuff Thrice B!
PS. Where is David? I thought I saw a draft of his on the horizon but it appears to be on hold now…

On a side note of hilariousness (semi-related to the NAAFA people above in #2)
Check out the front page of the Onion today:
Obama visits Denny’s and talks about abandoning complex policies on emissions, clean coal and refocusing on achievable goals like applying deodorant daily, learning what to say when you burp, etc.
Other highlights:
“Not calling your waitress a cunt”
“Think about walking down to the liquor store instead of driving”
(in response to the long term goals for the Obama presidency)
“Well, It’s certainly not to make America a world leader in anything anymore, we hope to inspire all Americans to band together to make our nation a little bit less of an *embarrassing disgusting shit hole.”

Yeah, the problem with posting about those Slate blog entries is ma boi Slick Willy Saletan posts regularly and the shit I was talking about is pushed lower. But I think there are individual pages with each blog post on them. I’ll have to put one of those links up next time.
