Congratulations Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Trevor Ariza, Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers. If you will recall, only 4 people picked the Lakers to win from our overwhelmingly popular poll exactly two months ago: NBA Playoffs, KG, John Madden, Thomas, etc. Since Los Angeles clinched their 15th NBA title last night, I think the members of the BrainTrust deserve a little recognition… good job team! I don’t think the Lakers could have done it without us, hopefully we can expect our rings to arrive in the mail within the next month or so.

Also, stay tuned for the results on Plaxico Burress vs. Mike Vick — don’t forget prizes will be awarded to those voters who answered correctly. Only time will tell though, what if they’re both suited up come the start of the season? Do I smell a puuuuuuush? With Burress’ gun case adjourned until September and Michael Vick’s federal prison sentence set to expire on July 20th — it may come down to the wire. Vick was also just released from the Atlanta Falcons last week so teams can offiicially start hollering. I want my SwaggerTooth coozie, guitar pick and t-shirt ASAP please!
