So, one of my professors does research on Boutique pedals. Focusing on the art, the makers, the community, etc.

Below is a Prezi presentation he gave at the Experience Music Project conference in Seattle last month.

Really cool stuff. Check it out if you’re into pedals.

Most of the pedals are unique works, or at least limited edition due to the art on them and specially designed circuit boards. Apparently there is a huge youtube community of people testing and showing off their new pedals.

Congrats Thrice! I can relate all too well to those dark days after an experience like that, I’m sorry that I can’t make it the big bash, (the gf bought me Jay-z tickets for christmas) It sounds likes it will be one for the ages!
