So did you miss Big Frank vs. Big Bertha II: The Showdown Live @ the 4th Quarter July 28th, 2009? Well, it’s almost been an entire month since this epic rematch took place and we are finally debuting it here (where it was previously available exclusively on SwaggerToothTV) to the rest of the SwaggerTooth Nation in anticipation for the upcoming third installment of Big Frank vs. Big Bertha: III

I really have very little reason to put this picture up on SwaggerTooth, I just really like it. I feel like David is in there somewhere; I haven’t figured out which powerful politician he is yet.

Here is ma boi Christopher Hitchens with his two cents on the Henry Louis Gates incident. I like his phrase “constitutional castle”. (I’ve yet to pick up his book God is Not Great. Sounds like a page-turner.)

Finally my real reason for this post. I hope it’s not too late to get everyone’s opinion on this. You have until 9:00 PM Tuesday July 28th to vote. Trivia starts at 8:00, and I’m guessing the showdown will take place during Professor Jim’s grading break. Now I’m not trying to influence the voting, but the win-loss record is clearly stated after the combatants’ names. Exercise your right to democracy wisely. I know who I’m voting for.

DAVID “BIG FRANK” GOMEZ VS. TRACY “BIG BERTHA” GRAHAM II is officially set for July 28th at the 4th Quarter Bar & Grille at 8pm. This will be a rematch of the June 16th arm wrestling debacle when Graham aka TFG totally stunned and destroyed Dem David Dem (and the ENTIRE audience of the 4th Quarter). Immediately after the shocking defeat, El Meester brokered a rematch “same-place-same-time style” to take place exactly six weeks later. Both parties quickly agreed and from that point, it was officially on.

Clearly, the BrainTrust wants to see one of our own win this rematch, but to be honest David, we are quite worried. Tracy informed everyone at Gomez vs. Graham that her victory was no fluke, and that she would be preparing for the rematch by getting back into a formal upper-body training routine. She also actually wanted the rematch to take place 4 weeks from the initial tilt while David pushed for 8 weeks. In other words, there’s no doubt Tracy is taking this very seriously, as evidenced by this late-night/early-morning text sent to El Meester:

“Tell David I have challenged several people to arm wrestling in Savannah [Georgia] and won… His shit’s weak”

David’s paraphrased verbal response: Wow, so she’s serious about this huh?

Yes she is, Big Frank, and she told everyone that from the beginning. However, it seems as if the recent trash talk coming from Graham’s camp may have woken the sleeping giant. Rumors are flying around the internet about the possibility of a upcoming face tattoo…

Courtesy of RNL591: U.S. Webster’s dictionary adds new words. My personal favs: Sock puppet, reggaeton, and staycation. After reading that “reggaeton” is officially in the dictionary, that’s when I knew SwaggerTooth’s own Dem David Dem had to be working for Webster’s. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next year!

Three-quarters of the BrainTrust had a great day at the beach Saturday! Big Frank only tallied 1.5 spills today, well below his previous total of 4. Francisco Grande’s St. George Island average sits at a reasonable 2.75. Todo bien!

Here’s a “sweet” article from Slate Magazine alerted me to the most awesomely-named soft drinks of all time. Pepsi Throwback and Mountain Dew Throwback. We are all aware that Mountain Dew has been going through some hard times lately, not having enough money for vowels and having to drop most of them from their MTN DEW cans. Hopefully this will get them back on track.

Ya’ll remember that Dole/Kemp ’96? Yeah it’s a little fuzzy for me, too. I think I was twelve. But I do remember my J-Beezy being a Dole man. Well, Jack Kemp passed at the age of 73. Granted, he was no Jim Kelly, but he’ll be missed I guess. Buffalo Bills love for Dem David Dem!

Just caught this, but this is one of the best Curb Your Enthusiasm scenes I’ve ever seen.
